I think it’s interesting that the heroes in most of the books, art, and movies of our society are the ones that fight for the idea that we’re more than just biological machines. That we were made to love, hope, and persevere despite the odds…
But all of our science is doing its best to prove that everything can be explained away as if we were just biological machines.
Somehow both contradicting ideas are embraced by our culture, and yet God, who is the explanation for how the intelligent biology is filled with the mysterious spirit, is considered obsolete.
